(TORONTO) – June 2012 – Countdown is on for Ontario Craft Beer Week 2012, launching Father’s Day and running from June 17 – 23, 2012. The third annual, province-wide festival of Ontario’s independent craft brewers celebrates the local beer scene and exposes new consumers to the fun, flavour and fresh quality of Ontario craft brewing.
Hosted by 29 OCB member breweries, to date there are events and tasting opportunities in 29 communities and over 70 event venues in communities across the province from Windsor to Vankleek Hill. “Ontario Craft Beer Week keeps getting better, expanding into new venues and communities, offering unique opportunities for all tastes,” says Anetta Jewell of Great Lakes Brewery and co-chair of Ontario Craft Beer Week 2012. “There are many different kinds of events, ranging from big outdoor craft beer festivals to intimate beer tastings to menu pairings and everything in between.”
